Innovation Takes the Lead.

Twelve Chippewa High School students competed at the 2025 National Robotics Challenge, showcasing 13 custom-built robots across five high-level engineering events.

From April 3rd to 5th, twelve determined students from Chippewa High School took their talents to the national stage at the 2025 National Robotics Challenge (NRC) in Marion, Ohio. Facing off against nearly 1,500 students and over 500 robots from across 15 states and Puerto Rico, our Chipps made their mark in what became the largest NRC event in history!

With 13 fully custom-designed and student-built robots in tow, the Chippewa team competed in five of the NRC’s thirteen unique challenges. Each robot was the result of months of dedication, collaboration, and inventive thinking—demonstrating the students’ growing mastery of coding, mechanics, and real-world problem-solving.

Events like the NRC give students more than just competition—they offer a chance to work under pressure, solve complex problems, and represent their school with pride on a national level. The experience also builds essential 21st-century skills like teamwork, adaptability, and innovation.

We’re so proud of these outstanding Chipps and their fearless dive into one of the most advanced student robotics competitions in the country. Their achievements reflect the strength of our STEM programs and the future of engineering at Chippewa!
