Vocal Students Shine at Solo & Ensemble Contest
First-Time, Top Scores.
Chippewa’s 7th and 8th grade vocal students attended their first OMEA Jr. High Solo & Ensemble adjudication and earned outstanding ratings across the board!
Our 7th and 8th grade vocal students made Chippewa proud at the OMEA District 6 Junior High Solo and Ensemble adjudication, held at Stanton Middle School. For all six participants, this was their very first time performing solo in front of a judge—and they rose to the occasion with confidence and skill.
Each student prepared and performed a vocal solo, showcasing months of hard work, dedication, and vocal growth. The results speak volumes:
- Landon Winans (Tenor Solo) – Superior
- Evie Scritchfield (Soprano Solo) – Superior
- Ralynn Bontempt (Soprano Solo) – Superior
- Jensen Williams (Baritone Solo) – Excellent
- Leila Nemchev (Soprano Solo) – Superior
- Averii Bigley (Soprano Solo) – Superior
These performances highlight not only their musical talent but also their courage in stepping onto the stage for the very first time. Events like this build confidence, foster growth, and bring our Chipps closer together through shared achievement and support.
Bravo to all of our vocal performers—you represented Chippewa with pride and excellence!
